ABOUT US
Kootingal APDA Physie & Dance
We are Kootingal's first and only dance studio that is offering classes with the APDA Physie and Dance Syllabus.
The club was opened by Kiara Northey in 2018 with a vision to create a welcoming space for children to do what they love... DANCE.
What is APDA Physie & Dance?
APDA (Australia Physie and Dance Association) is a fusion of Physie and the art of Dance. Each year our members learn 4-6 choreographed routines which have their own skill-set and focus on musicality, technique, performance, flexibility, cardio and strength. All the routines have been choreographed by qualified and professional choreographers to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all members.
Each routine is a different dance style. This means you can have up to 5 dance styles in just one affordable class including Ballet, Jazz, Physie, Lyrical, and Contemporary.
What are the benefits of doing APDA Physie & Dance?
There are many positive benefits on the body including increasing flexibility, fitness, coordination and learning correct posture. It also helps all women and girls improve their self-confidence and their social wellbeing. At Physie every one make many life long friends. We have an encouraging environment that makes all members feel valued. We are a second family. We are your Physie & Dance Family.
